Yaa Akyimpim Jantuah
Former director of public affairs of public utility regulatory council PURC and now general secretary for the Convention People's Party CPP Yaa Akyimpim Jantuah has emphatically stated that, there is only one political party in Ghana that has opponents.Speaking on Ghone TV today September 14, 2020. She explained that, all other parties are riding on their founder, Dr Kwame Nkrumah's legacy and ideology that makes CPP the best alternative in the upcoming general election. Nana Yaa Jantuah also admitted to the fact that her party's performance in the previous elections has not been encouraging but stressed that, their previous performances can't justify their fate. She indicated that, if the CPP won election with Dr Hilla Liman who was not known to politics, then it is equally possible to win in December.
Although, CPP is yet to release their manifesto but Yaa Jantuah hinted that, her party is concerned with access to quality health care by everybody, hence, CPP will eradicate the no bed syndrome and build health facilities in isolated and deprived communities if voted in power.
Despite the fact that some parties have the lion share of the voter population, Yaa Jantuah believes that it doesn't take long for people to change their minds on voting, it all has to do with people who have not gotten what they want.
